Okay, I'll start it out this time....

Audio quality stunk for a few questions I had towards the end....digital garble. I may re-record those and edit them over the garbled ones. I really dig the first song that plays, and we've got music from one of our own to celebrate this being the 10th podcast. Michael Lyon, of Estes Adventures, was very nice to interview. At some points we diverted off into talk about Early Estes Park history. That got edited out obviously.

Anyway, I wanted to put together a podcast that got across how easy, and fun, it is to snowshoe. I think we got the easy factor across, but due to being short on time we didn't get to spend too much talking about the fun.

If any of y'all ever had the thought of snowshoeing cross your mind.....do it. EP & RMNP are incredible in the winter time!!

If I can snowshoe and not injure myself, anyone can do it!

I haven't listened to the whole thing yet, but my favorite part was the intro to John's segment... In a world where pink is lavendar... roflmao.gif

Quite interesting Aaron. Linda and I will be in the park next February and a little snowshoeing is on our to-do list.
Thanks.

Great podcast. I really enjoy snowshoeing and was glad to hear information regarding snowshoeing in RMNP. However, I was a bit disappointed that nothing was mentioned in regard to avalanche safety. I get the impression that many snowshoers don't think avalanches are a concern for them, but they can easily find themselves in terrain just as dangerous as any skier. This is maybe something you might consider covering in a future podcast. Thanks for all of your hard work!

Definitely! Thanks dev/null/ shakehands.gif I should definitely put a link on the show notes regarding avalanche safety. I kick myself now....I should have thought about that. bag.gif Welcome to the forums as well!
