here we go...I'm sure we will get some more great reporting from all of the others....I left a lot of the "extra" fun out so others could fill everyone in...the fender bender..etc.... It was AWSOME to meet those who came!! It was loads of fun and I hope this becomes an annual event....wish more of you could have made it!!

Smudge,
Thanks for sharing your trip report. It was great. I especially loved the picture looking over the edge where it drops straight down. That was way cool and I was so glad it wasn't me standing that close to the edge!!
I would imagine that you aren't the only one who is thinking this should be an annual event. I'm so glad that it worked out for Aaron to go. I know he loved meeting you guys and getting a new perspective of his favorite place!!

Smudge, you're awesome! For us hearsick stay-behinds, as usual, your trip report made it almost like being there. . . only much warmer
Those pictures are incredible! I'm really anxious to hear every detail when Bill gets home tomorrow.
Thanks for the speedy reports!

Wow! Mike, those were great pics! I've spent my weekend, getting over a sinus infection and watching the Winter X Games in Aspen, wishing I was out in those amazing mountains with all of you!!! I'm glad you guys had such a great time.

Nice reports guys! I'd love to try to get there for next years Stomp!
The wife and I were in RMNP the 1st week in January and we donned showshoes for the first time ever. We both really enjoyed the experience and are looking forward to many more winter visits to Rocky. We hit Bear, Nymph and Dream lakes on our first and only trek. Needless to say it was nothing hardcore, but it was a good first experience nonetheless. Maybe we'll try something a little harder next time, and your trip report has provided us with some great insights for our next adventure.
Thanks!
Hoss
