Thanks Man! That was pretty awesome, even from here in Pittsburgh.

I probably wouldn't have kept going, unless I was with someone who knew the way.
By myself, I don't think I would have.

Very impressive.

And to think I am going to consider it an accomplishment to make this trip on a nice summer day.

That is amazing. I am surprised that you were able to see any cairns at all. I thought they all would have been buried in the snow. That is a trip report like none I have ever seen. Being blown over by the wind . . . . you were a man on a mission!!! cold.gif

Awesome pics and report!

Smudge, did you do this alone? I just can't imagine how tough that must have been. You're one persistent dude. Tell me D-Dog stayed home for this one!

Great pictures and report Smudge! Do you have any problems with condensation inside your goggles?

Thanks....I started to have problems...but I think the high wind actually helped that. I think the wind blew hard enough through the vents in the goggle to dry them up ok. Only once did I have to wipe away condensation. Some would form...but in a munite or so, it was gone.

Wow! Just Wow!

I am impressed. I am with Chris when I say that I too am going to consider it an accomplishment to make this summit in good weather. I can't imagine how tough it probably was and how exhausting it must have been.

Well done and great pictures!
