I think he might be blowing this out of proportion.

I agree. It's a good thing that no one, especially kids, had a bad encounter with that bear!

That's a great point because there were a good number of kids nearby that area. Am I remembering right Randy?

That's no bear, that's Marvman. He walks on all fours when he's had one too many !! Lucky no children were around. I can see by all the fur that he was nekkid. Yucko !!

Actually, I've known Lee for several years now, through a number of different boards, and he is definately GOOD FOLKS! (don't mention that I actually had something good to say about him). I hope to get a face-to-face with him one of these days.
Post often Lee, I am sure you can bring a unique perspective to the area through your decades of knowledge of the subject.
Marvman
btw - I always wondered, what does the 421 in your name stand for? Birthday perhaps, April 1921? Ok, maybe not......

Decades of knowledge....OUCH !!!
Thanks for the welcome and the invite Marvman. I really like this DB and all of the great times it reminds me of in the park through the "decades".
The 421 in my name is there because Lee is not enough characters to be accepted as a userid most places. Many moons ago when I started posting on DBs and such I randomly added the 421 purely as a place holder so I could register. It just seems to be easier that way.
