Estes Park: Estes Park, the
eastern gateway to Rocky Mountain National Park, is
named after Joel Estes who settled there in 1859. Since
then it has become a town of 5,413 people. Estes Park
is surrounded with opportunity to experience the outdoors
as it not only borders Rocky Mountain National Park,
but Roosevelt National Forest as well.
Estes Park meets the tourism requirements of the millions
of visitors that pass through it each year. Yet it still
maintains much of the same victorian charm that it possessed
